Choosing a site layout (structural templates)
Since v0.12.0In addition to the five color themes (which all share one page layout), the Site Template field offers five structural layouts — each with its own header, footer, and homepage design, not just different colors. Your logo, brand colors, quick-action cards, and content all carry straight through whichever one you pick.
- Classic — the original courthouse design: a gradient hero over a parcel-map graphic, overlapping quick-action cards, and a navy stats band.
- Modern Civic Portal — search-first: a big “What can we help you find today?” hero, a card grid of services, and a soft, rounded look.
- Classic Government — a formal, dense .gov-style layout: an “official website” banner, a seal-and-search masthead, and a two-column news layout.
- Map / Property-First — leads with an interactive-style parcel map on the homepage and a find-your-property search panel.
- DIY — deliberately near-blank chrome (a thin header and footer) so you can build the page almost entirely yourself with the Page Builder.
Switching layouts is just as safe as switching color themes — your notices, board members, meetings, forms, and pages don’t move or change; only the surrounding design does.
A structural layout’s homepage uses its own designed section order (rather than the drag-to-reorder list described in Arranging your homepage) — but Classic still honors any custom sections you’ve added.
Map / Property-First currently shows a stylized placeholder map, not your district’s real parcel data — wiring it to a live GIS layer is on the roadmap. Use CAMA / GIS integration to link out to your real property-search tool in the meantime.
