SEO & Social settings

Since v0.6

The SEO & Social tab (on your district’s Branding record) controls how your site is described to search engines — and, increasingly, to AI assistants that answer questions using your site’s content (sometimes called AEO, answer engine optimization).

  • Favicon — the small icon shown in browser tabs and search results.
  • Site Title — used in browser-tab titles and search results; defaults to your district name if left blank.
  • Site Description — one or two sentences (about 155 characters) shown in search results and read by AI assistants. Make it specific: what the district does, and a reason to click.
  • Keywords — comma-separated; a minor signal for search, more useful as a hint for AEO.
  • Facebook / X / Instagram / YouTube / LinkedIn URLs — each shows a footer icon only when filled in.
Every CMS page also has its own SEO description field, so you can tune individual pages (like a Homestead Exemption FAQ) beyond the site-wide default.
